About DMC Counseling
Hey there, I'm Deanna Casper, LMHC licensed to practice in Florida.
It is very difficult to admit you may need help and there should be no shame for doing so.
I specialize in helping people who struggle with addiction, trauma, and mood disorders. I also like to help people improve their self-confidence and self-esteem which may be a result of these maladaptive behaviors.
I can help by being non-judgmental, warm and empathetic. I have worked with people who have a wide variety of issues. I have primarily worked with people who struggle with addiction and/or mood disorders. I have extensive experience helping people who struggle with early childhood trauma and I have a niche for helping people who have experienced religious trauma.
I use a variety of modalities and methods however ultimately therapy boils down to the rapport I have with you. I believe that everyone is capable of change. My job is not to change you but to guide you to change yourself.
I truly believe that it is very brave to recognize that you may need professional help and take the risk of opening up to a complete stranger. I invite you to allow me the privilege to be part of your healing and self-discovery journey.
